While there have been many definitions and many transformations in approach over the year, UX has universally become synonymous with thinking about problems from a user's lens. However, many companies are limiting their thinking about UX to a methodology for problem solving on the screen, largely in pixels.
Service Design, while by no means a novel concept, is the piece these companies are missing. The application of service design helps companies think beyond the pixels to create holistic user experiences across digital, physical, and virtual touchpoints. I'm excited to tell you about how Chime's Design Team internalizes service design and wields this powerful tool to serve our members."
